Washing My Hair – Australian Native Botanicals

Stylonylon - UK fashion blog

I am so bad at washing my hair, I’m not even going to tell you how r̶a̶r̶e̶l̶y̶ often it happens. Ahem. But when I do…

Like all my skincare products, I go for brands that are on the natural and organic side of the spectrum. So I was quite delighted to be sent an everyday shampoo and hair strengthening conditioner by Australian Native Botanicals to try out. Stocked in the UK at Marks & Spencer – it was launched here last year – the brand is committed to low carbon sustainable manufacturing and uses wild harvested and organic ingredients from Australia. Love the packaging. You?

I tried the Everyday rejuvenating shampoo and Intensive care treatment conditioner. Both have a very subtle fragrance and the shampoo lathers up really well for an organic – a real bugbear of mine. I shampooed twice just to be sure, but I’m thinking one shampoo would probably do the trick. I left the conditioner on for just a few minutes (I have so little patience for this) but as I rinsed it out I could already feel the fresh soft silkiness. Ah, I think I’ve just talked myself into much-needed hair wash… 😉

Both priced £7.50, available here.

  1. I’m also having a hard time finding organic shampoo and cond. Shampoo not leathering I can get used to, but could not find a STRONG conditioner and without it my hair is completely crazy. I still use plain ol’ pantene conditioner, but I wash it off holding my head down to expose as little skin as possible to it.

the packaging is very cute, but what’s cuter are those little chubby hands playing with the bottles!!
