New in on the Stylonylon beauty shelf – lots of lovely colour blasting colour to make beauty fun for summer! I really am a packaging junkie and sometimes it’s enough just to gaze upon the prettiness…

I’ve been using these brilliant new beauty oils by Tisserand – Rosehip (£18) for more mature skin for nighttime and the lighter coconut (£8.95) for normal skin in the morning. I really love using oils and never find them too greasy or heavy. These ones are particularly light in composition and sink in beautifully, I’m convinced my skin’s been looking better and more dewy (although enjoying the sun might be muddying the waters ever so slightly!).

Next up are a couple of nail polishes sent to me by Intensae. I love how many nail polish brands are going ‘5 free’ these days, making them so much more of a pleasure to use knowing there’s no nasties. I’ve used the nude a couple of times now and it slides on perfectly well and, as I try ever so hard to paint over my nail tips and layer with a top coat gloss, they lasted chip-free for almost a few days. I hear Seche Vite is all the rage these days for a fast drying top coat, so must get hold of some of that…

And then, far left and far right, scented products for yumminess; Light Relax Aromatherapy Associates bath and shower oil, although I only ever use oil in the bath – very sophisticated mix of lavender, ylang ylang and pettigrain; and a solid perfume by Le Soft Perfume, the latest fragrance launch on Cult Beauty (get 20% off with the code OOHLALA) – this one is called Artist, very masculine, cedar and grapefruit scented blend, definitely one for you if you don’t like sweet girly perfumes.

And finally, because skincare isn’t just about me these days (seriously considering doing a toddler style blog, haha!) these two brilliant products from Childs Farm – lovely, gentle, nasties-free products; no parabens, SLS’s, mineral oils or artificial colours and good for eczema-prone skin.
