Sunday Silver

IMG_7393As you know, I’ve had a bit of on-going thing with delicate rose gold of late. Ignoring I guess what I’d call my first love in jewellery, silver…

Teenage moments of discovering beautiful silver pieces, accessible and seemingly appropriate to me at that age. Gold is for adults, always, in my mind. But recently, I’ve been making small forays back into my silver lined teenage headspace – first, with new earrings and even a new piercing. And now with these incredible Rome-inspired Angelo rings by Renne Jewellery; a North Yorkshire-based mother and daughter duo, both jewellery designers (see their tumblr blog).

I don’t quite know how to describe it, these rings make me feel solid, whole and strong all in a oner. And such an amazing minimal statement when stacked. I should explain, I was sent one to review for the blog with two other sizes so I could get the right fit, but am so enamoured, am hoping to purchase the other two. Loving silver much?

Building  a new silver ear party with jewels from Reo Jewels, Maya Magal* (sorry, can’t find these earrings online!) and a new piercing thanks to Boticca!

Excuse the chipped mani, feels like a massive blog faux pas, but tbh it’s the reality of life and post-LFW inertia, plus reluctance to remove such a lush colour – Nails Inc x Victoria Beckham Judo Red

  1. Those rings are amazing! I have always been a silver fanatic (the reason why my blog is called Stained Silver). I always feel whole and complete with my stacks of rings:)
