Where To Eat | Yeah! Grills @ The Victoria Dalston

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWays to spend a Bank Holiday? Gorging on gorgeous food of course! Often the problem is where to go but we got it just right with Yeah Grill currently at The Victoria Dalston

Already known for their excellent burgers and current residency at Star of KingsYeah Burger has now set up Yeah! Grills for the summer at Dalston pub The Victoria. As well as the burgers –you can choose gluten-free buns should you so desire – they are also serving some impressive British BBQ style dishes. I went for the sea bream and Myles’s the steak and yes, we may have had a burger on the side ;).

Once you’ve chosen your mains and any additional sides (we had chips, big enough for us to have some while Gus ate the lion’s share!) sit back and wait for the seasonal salad, slaw and grains dishes to arrive. I’m not up on all the foodie jargon but all if it was insanely good.

The idea is that the food arrives more or less together so you can all pick and share. Well, Myles took one sniff of the burger and devoured it before I could even get a look in!   My fish was exquisite with citrus flavours as were the salads. I ate my fill and then kept eating. So if you’re in east London definitely pay a visit, lunch served from 1pm on Saturdays and open evenings rest of the week.

Yeah! Grills at The Victoria, 451 Queensbridge Road, London, E8 3AS

  1. The Victoria looks great and I am a serious fan of any company which offers gluten free options; there’s really no excuse not to, these days. I am also crazy for these photographs, which have exactly the quality of light, tone and ‘texture’ which I admire and long to achieve. I am still considering which might be the right camera for me – the Pen F is seriously expensive, but my goodness the results are brilliant!
Thanks, as always, for a little dose of inspiration and good times.

    1. It was a great place to shoot I have to admit, dark surfaces but with lots of light, but still nice and moody 🙂 ah, decisions, decisions. But remember I think it is often more to do with the lens than the camera body so that is where I would put my money…
