I can’t quite describe what it is I love about tan. It’s just one of those colours – and variations of; camel, caramel, cafe au lait – that I feel a deep connection. I’m not usually a matchy matchy type but in this case scarf (new) and boots (old) just seemed right together…
Plus another deep-seated love of mine, the bucket bag. This is the new Charlotte mini from Cru London who really make their bags so well and are also to be found at the just-opened The Collaborative Store – a nice coincidence as I’d come across both previously. These pics were snapped round the back of Hoxton Hotel just after finishing our latest photography (focus on Instagram!) workshop which was such great fun (if you’d like find out about future ones, sign up to my mailing list and I’ll keep you posted!). Olympus Pen not required!
In the meantime we have tumbled into the most luxuriously lazy half-term after making the joint family decision not to go anywhere for once – Gus’s first term at school has gone brilliantly, but boy is he tired. (Full disclosure: when I say going nowhere, I may be nipping off for a little Algarve jaunt at the weekend, ahem!). But we’ve been having the most lovely time at home, with little local outings and I guess just allowing ourselves to do a little less than usual. Such a treat! Why do we push ourselves so? So slow living it this week!
Such a short post, apologies! But in such half-term mode 😉 Ps. There’s a mini sale on over at Hush starting today til 30 Oct – up to 50% off – take a peek!
