I guess my Sunday Edits are currently functioning as thinly disguised gift guides as in the run up to, sshh, that thing that happens at the end of December with all the family and food… Which means shopping amps up as does looking around for nice things to buy!
So socks. Let’s start with them, because without doubt, you will not see the year out without buying someone you know a pair. Let me direct you to socks that are more like mini works of art and will elicit a little gasp of appreciation from the recipient – Stance socks via Cornwall boutique Roos Beach (see my Christmas wishlist with them!). So many gorgeous patterns, and because they are skate socks are made extremely well with a cotton/elastane blend that snugly fits and stays up on your ankle. I have a pet hate of socks that annoyingly slide down to your heel during the day.

NOT ANOTHER CANDLE?!
I can never get enough candles around me. Such a heavenly indulgence (though still laughing at the now-famous @dril candle tweet!) and am always on the look out for new ones. The latest one to cross my desk is all natual Birch & Brook Festival scent available at A Beautiful World.

SAME BUT NOT THE SAME
Being a collector of the same things over and over again – tortoiseshell sunglasses and flat bottomed bucket bags, ahem – here are my latest finds in the those sartorial categories. Just the most perfectly shaped tortoiseshell frames from Illesteva x MiH – this style currently sold unfortunately but very similar are my long time faves the Percy by Finlay & Co.

LATEST BUCKET LOVE
The latest bucket style to hit my radar is the new in mini, Sicilian basket inspired Santina bucket by Meli Melo. Couldn’t resist it in the tan, but the selling-out-fast in grey is pretty gorgeous too. Love the suede pouch that draw-strings closed at the top and the basket weave is just too pretty. Ideal for carrying small cameras around as per ;). Although unfortunately not in the Black Friday sale, there’s 30% off a whole load of other styles… do take a peek!

NEW NATURAL BEAUTY
A gorgeous new natural beauty brand to tell you about! Launched in 2014, Immunocologie was founded by beauty industry veteran Karen Ballou after a two-year treament for lymphoma cancer; she wanted to create beauty products that weren’t detrimental to her health and wellness. Drawing on ionic minerals found in raw earth clay, the 100% natural and organic 12-strong range is aimed at hydrating, moisturising and preventing the signs of ageing. I’ve been trying out the eye serum (so soft and gentle, the skin around my eyes looks heathier) and the cleansing lotion which I love using with cotton wool at the end of the day rather than a face wash; so much more soothing to skin. Available in the UK at Harrods Urban Retreat.

I knew about Lulu & Nat as somewhere good to go and get kids duvet covers and sheets (how fab is this tiger print?) but they’ve recently introduced adult sized bedding as well as some sumptous quilts and accompanying cushions. This pebble grey pop pom cushion looks perfect against our all-white bed…

And last but by no means least, a pair of boxfresh white Superga kicks from New York travel lifestyle pop-up Away in Shoreditch. Offering travel goods and essentially an extremely high-quality range of roller suitcases, at great prices which they’re able to do because they cut out the middle man. Very obsessed with the sleek line and colour of the suitcases and the wheel functionality, yes, I know, travel geek, but wheels that swivel and work realiably make all the difference when you’re hoofing around airports! The pop-up is at 9 Club Row, E1.

ps. And finally, so proud of my String of Hearts* growing so well – from the brilliant monthly Geo-Fleur #plantpostclub.
All asterixed products are samples sent for review, all opinions my own as ever.
