I said it myself on Instagram this week, I’m getting a bit bored of my constant jumper and jeans parade. So thanking the weather gods for whizzing us through Storm Doris and lightening things up so that shirts could be on the menu…
I layered this fab little pyjama top – from new brand Kitri Studios, launching this month – over a black jersey top yesterday and it worked a treat. But really looking forward to wear it just on its own with faded jeans. Oh wow, how good is this pair from M&S, cropped so I don’t have to cut, now that makes a change. Love the shirt’s structured confidence and nod to 1950s bowling alley chic, especially with its cute little embroidered logo. White trainers aren’t really going anywhere, just nice to find a cool pairs that aren’t Stans I guess. Easy going spring look for stepping out when the heavens promise not to open and all you need worry about is whether you remembered your sunnies or not!
Now this Friday is of interest! To me at least, as we have a little party to go to. Bit of an art crowd, but maybe a spot of early evening dancing followed by dinner. So I reckon a smart white shirt (see Karen Millen’s #whiteshirtproject for more inspo) with practically de rigueur bell sleeves plus killer heels (my one serious pair of killer heels – by Anita Flavina) against a denim and leather backdrop. Oh and showing a wholesome peekaboo of pretty bralet by Bodas. One of Positive Luxury’s trusted brands, I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try Bodas’s super comfy pieces, exactly the kind of underwear I like to wear! So I’m easing into warmer climes with a bit tailoring and worn in pale denim.
