White Kicks (And Basics!) Forever

Just like ripped jeans and a good leather jacket, white kicks have made it into our wardrobes as a forever staple, the perfect fallback for finishing off an easy (or more complicated!) outfit with the right amount of style, comfort and panache! So say hello to the just launched Seven Feet Apart…

The brainchild of former Hudson managing director, Ian Cartwright and ad agency Naked Communications managing director Matt Bagwell, Seven Feet Apart cuts out the middle men bringing you top quality sneakers for a much more reasonable price (think £125 instead of £250). Made in Portugal from Italian leather with a seven layer engineered sole which, I will not lie, gives a serious amount of comfort and support. Plus traceable production and working with short lead times and small drops helps minimise waste and promote sustainability.
Super comfy and your feet feel really protected too, which is kinda handy around a charging-around five year old! My basket bag obsession is going strong and I’m now looking to vintage finds (this lovely piece from US vintage Instagram account Folkling!) and also, in case you’ve had you eye on the round woven bag I’ve been featuring, a similar style is just about to land at Rose Grey, where you’ll soon be able to pre-order, I’ll keep you posted! In other news I’m loving the old pieces like these worn in Levis and ageing leather jacket!
