Gosh, hallo winter! You are quickly upon us and wrapping warm is the order of the day! Sheepskin and shearling jackets have that amaze 70s Ali McGraw vibe and have been doing the rounds these last couple of year but guess what, this is 100% polyester…
Which somehow makes me feel better, and also it’s not the crazy prices that the real thing (although rightly so, why should animal skin come cheaply) comes in at. And what’s more, xennial child that I am and forever moving with the times, I bought it through Amazon, because I’d seen it ping up on an Amazon Instagram advert and yes I clicked right through and bought one Sunday evening. Who’d have thunk it. By Pepe Jeans btw, who I haven’t bought from in a long time, but am so impressed with this snug little thing (I went XXS) that I may well check out what else they have to offering. Fyi, wearing this everyday right now. Highly unlikely you’ll be seeing me in anything else over the next month. She says. 😉
Given that my November uniform is now this coat, jeans (I’ve got to tell you all about the new Levi’s skinny 501 btw and these boots;yes, I know you’re probably sick of them by now!) I’m trying to mix things up a little bit and thought I’d give these velvet-piped wide-legged trousersgo. Normally I’d shy away, but these are Boden who thoughtfully go down to a size 6 – yes, I still had to put them up, schlock home-DIY job! Only shoes that work for me with these are white kicks and then slim-fit knit on top. Breaking my bucket bag habit with this cute little circular thing, won’t fit my camera but I can carry that over my shoulder with new #mimiXstylonylon straps coming out this week!
Want some audio? Here’s a track I made – it’s called Always Waiting For You! 😉
