Especially post-pregnancy. I’m not here to whinge, my tummy recovered ok from the nine-month stretch, but even so, it’s not quite the same and I’m guessing never will be unless I commit to a supermodel-style exercise regime. Never gonna happen. So, bulldozing onwards, I thought I’d give the look a go with an old Topshop cropped jumper I picked up a while ago and share my top tips on how best to wear the little bugger.
Tip 1 – Trial run while you’re on holiday when it’s easier to get away with more off the wall dressing. If it works for you, bring it home!
Tip 2 – Give your hips and torso a helping tilted lift with a pair of heels, and don’t feel guilty about it.
Tip 3 – The way to go is – unless you’re super young/slinky/just don’t care – to pair with something like cute, boyfriend jeans to distract from the skin on display. Skinnies would feel way too exposing for me.
