Another heat-defying ensemble from earlier in the week, when London was still baking. Featuring wide-legged culottes (…)
A clotted cream coloured vest and mocca Arizona Birkis dressed up with my smartest bag – you’ll probably recognise it’s a Sophie Hulme from the platewear. We’ve since travelled up to Skye via Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony (so proud of my beautiful man for soundtracking the athletes parade!) all to the most glorious weather – in all honesty, I have never experienced such heat in Scotland. Transformational stuff. Unfortunately, it seems the Skye heatwave comes to an end tomorrow, so we made the most of it today paddling in the sea and getting out on a small boat ride.
Anyway, a Skye outfit post and visual diary will be with you soon – we are taking it really easy up here, just enjoying grandparent time and winding down before a pretty busy next few weeks back in London. Lots of exciting things coming up including a talk about fashion blogging and the Olympus Pen system I’m giving at the Jessops Summer Photo Festival next week; apologies if you already read about this in my last post, just flagging it up in case you’re free next Friday (Aug 1) between 4-6pm to come along and try out the Olympus Pen system and have a little photowalk! I’ll be chatting about the cameras and hopefully giving some useful tips and insights into blogging – spaces are free but limited, you can book yours by emailing, check the listing here.
Hope you have a lovely weekend planned – enjoy the sun wherever you are!
I am wearing Boohoo black culottes* with a simple vest by Dr Jeansmakers (bought at Hub boutique in Stoke Newington) and mocca Arizona Birkenstocks* with my Sophie Hulme bowling bag and pink sunnies (can’t remember where these are from!)
