Pre-LFW Camel In Stilettos

IMG_0574.JPGAnother busy day in the office! I must say it was super inspiring watching the Topshop team rally and plan for the craziness of the next few days…

After work I dashed off to The Apartment (a sort of LFW blogger haven!) to see if they could lend me a backpack that would carry all my LFW kit. I realised last minute a backpack was the obvious choice if I’m going to be hands free for shooting pics but as I’ll be writing too I need my laptop with me. A little more loaded down than I’d like to be and I’m wondering if I might be able to do it all with iPad but for Day 1 I want to be super prepared. As it was I completely fell for a gorgeous backpack by Russell & Bromley but as I can only borrow for a day, I rushed to the nearest store to see if I could buy one – yes, extreme impulse shopper, me – but to my dismay they were sold out. I’ll show you tomorrow, you’ll understand!

These pics of a fab Beyond Retro Label coat – Label is the brand’s line which is garments made out of pieces deemed non-saleable in the sorting centres. I adore this coat, but realistically it’s going to be too warm to wear over the next few days so I wanted to show you while I was wearing it today. Full disclosure: I was actually wearing trainers today but couldn’t resist trying on these gorgeous stilettos on show at The Apartment.

Hoping to fit in a little LFW kit post tomo if I get some spare time, but in the meantime, I’ve a 9am start at Somerset House so wish me luck! Oh, and do check out my latest piece on NYFW on the Topshop blog.

I am wearing a Beyond Retro coat*, MiH Phoebe jeans, Village England bag*, Shore Projects watch* (you can change the straps!) and Russell & Bromley heels

Big thanks again to Natasha from Girl in The Lens for snapping these pics!
