Today’s outfit – for a camera strap making workshop with the fab Elizabeth Dunn and Olympus – was a basic colour-block of grey with an oversized mannish coat of colour, more pinky than these photos show…
Colour-block layering I call it! Grey moss stitch sweater, bodycon blue-grey skinnies and my now-getting-worn-in Stan Smiths. Love this outfit! So easy, so comfy, but still cuts a dash – I think! And definitely a formula that can be applied to other looks – how about basics of black sweater and skinnies with a stand-out white coat, or basic blues with something bright like yellow on top? Ooh, want to try this out! Except I only have one really colourful coat and this is it. OK, I lie, I have something in light mint green which I haven’t been too sure about, but am now thinking could work with blues or blacks… Watch this space!
