Perfect pairings are such a lovely feelgood thing, like peppermint tea and brownies…! For me, stripes and Swedish Hasbeens – covetable clogwear champions – are a match made in heaven, especially when the socks are gorgeously Scandi-made too…
A long-term fan, I have two pairs of Swedish Hasbeen sandals (I even got married in a pair, similar style here, teamed with a vintage frock!) and so am pretty excited by the relatively new Chelsea boot design which has made an appearance this autumn. So cool in black, non? And I love the white stitching against the leather. Just the perfect daywear with skinnies, perfect oversized jumper (I am bonkers about this Sessun knit I found in Liberty on the day they had their 20% off sale – a soft snuggly grey goose of a jumper, almost white, with a flattering loose crew neck, chunky sleeves and longer back) and huge scarf; this is actually a tasselled cape but brilliant for wrapping up in.
Back home with a bit of down time built in, I’m recovering after a whirlwind trip to Vienna with Olympus for a Christmas workshop, but will have a little photo diary of the day up soon – such a magical, Christmas-lit city. Coming up this weekend, I’m checking out some new local eats, wine & restaurant Verden and Loven Presents, a pop-up pizza party. Have a great weekend, folks!
ps. The jeans are ones I frayed at the weekend…
One of my favourite sandal designs, the nude leather is just gorgeous (similar here)
Those boots are just what I have been looking for: comfortable but with some height, something I can wear on a rainy day yet modern and edgy at the same time. I am running out to buy them right now!
