Some sunny snaps after a meeting in Exmouth Market last week. You know, when it was still warm enough to sit outside with a hot chocolate and comment disbelievingly on the weather and how lucky we’ve been up until now…
I used to work in an office just around the corner and always savour the nostalgia when I return. So many cute little cafes and shops – we lunched in Caravan and then bumped into the lovely jeweller Clarice Price Thomas by chance; I’m running a giveaway with one of her gorgeous pieces, a double umbra gold ring til Friday, so do enter!
I also should have taken the coat off to show you the jumper in all its glory, huge chunky arms and forgivingly longer on the bum, but another outfit post showing that coming soon! Luckily I’m at home today just working on posts as I’m saving my strength for an early-doors Vienna Christmas market & photography tomorrow with Olympus and a whole gaggle (there should be an official collective noun by now!) of bloggers wielding the new Pen E-PL7 so it’s gonna be hella lot of fun and little downtime… I can’t wait to show off my new handsome little camera strap.
SOME EAST LONDON CHRISTMAS EVENTS
I’m also getting very excited about all the Christmassy things going on in east London too; there’s the Clapton Xmas Design Market on 11 December (6.30-10pm) at the 119 cafe on Lower Clapton Road with some lovely designers including handbags from Daughter of Jon, wooden & ceramic homewares from articlesarticles.co.uk and amazing rings from hannahrings.com and starting today there’s Winterville in Victoria Park, a veritable smorgasbord of festive fun – fairground, roller-skating & street food plus comedy, cabaret and tonnes of stuff for kids including ice-skating and panto. And the Shoreditch Christmas Craft Market is every Fri & Sat from the 5th (12-5pm) with all sorts of vintage, greeting cards, knitted goods, cakes, stationary and more (Red Market, 288 Old Street, EV1V 9LA).
In love with the stitching on the Sail camera wrist strap*!
