It’s kind of cheating, really. Blue on white denim, but still it is technically double denim and since I’m loving this layered look am that’s how I’m trumpeting it…

White, blue and grey is such a dreamy palette and with the MiH denim (both jeans – can you see the broderie bobbles and more tailored fit that boyfriend jeans are morphing into this spring? – and jacket from MiH x Selfridges edit) plus a Gestuz mannish coat and retrieved-from-the-back-of-my-closet Ash Jalouses in mauve I’m really feeling it. Tonal dressing is just so damn grown up! 

What’s not grown up is splurging money before it’s even arrived in my bank account on springtime fancies, but more on that soon. In the meantime, I’m super pleased to be back at my desk feeling A-OK after a weekend of festivities and travel for a wedding. I don’t really do occasion dressing that well, and this year tried something a bit different which went down a storm I’m happy to say! Although I’m sure I committed a terrible faux-pas nonetheless. Nonetheless (what a beautifully cumbersome word!) I danced the night away on Saturday night like I haven’t done in forever and have the blisters to prove it! 

Packing in quite a lot this week before LFW for which, after my working days are over, I’m planning to do a little daily diary, but bear with me if it’s all a bit scrappy! Oh my goodness, Monday is nearly over… So much to do!
