LFW Day1

I love the quiet expectancy of Somerset House at 9am Friday morning: first arrivals and hungry loping photographers …

First stop, we went to see some of the young NEWGEN designers before a bit of street style – all about the dogs this year, btw – and then beautiful silks at Eudon Choi.

I plugged in, uploaded and recharged at both the Ugg Sanctuary in the ME Hotel (where these pics were taken) and the ever marvellous The Apartment. Later, despite a seat at FelderFelder I arrived too late and was cut off with the tail end of the queue.

More picture editing with a quiet cuppa in a cafe (I skipped a Matthew Williamson afternoon tea as I couldn’t drag myself from my comfy spot!) before heading to the Molly Goddard presentation – my pic on the Topshop insta! – replete with models as artists sketching a very stoic and motionless nude – naked man alert!

A failed wifi hunt at Somerset House come 7pm, half a glass of prosecco in Fernandez & Wells and then home time! My biggest surprise of the day was not running out of juice on my various devices due to an assortment of chargers, and that felt like a total win! As did a lovely tweet from Grazia… Can’t wait to show you the results of my app vlogging… here’s a taster!

Outfit? In love with these ripped girlfriends from ASOS, the 70s charm of the new Village England mini Cranleigh and comfiest boots ever by Air & Grace. Oh and nails by Nails Inc, a Victoria Beckham polish collab, this orangey red called Judo Red. Laterz. I’m off this morning to see the awesome Faustine
