Just a quickie post but LFW Day 2, I managed to ditch my laptop (not literally, safe at home on my desk!) for the day and just work on photography and image editing via my iPad which is extremely liberating…
Mainly at Somerset House today – it was teaming! – I also got to wear my new favourite bucket and team with a neutral palette for what was actually a colder day than Friday. I went at a slower pace, things were more evenly spaced and I had a bit of chill time midday which was blissful. Faustine Steinmetz and her futuristic brushed and deconstructed denim was truly exciting to see first thing and later on Danielle Romeril and uniform-themed 1205, a real ‘fashion editors’ show if the attendees were anything to go by – Colin McDowell, Vogue’s Sarah Harris and The Sunday Times’ Pandora Sykes.
Got home end of work day at a reasonable hour and am now heading in for a pretty manic day for another presentation (Claire Barrow) and covering backstage and front of house for Topshop Unique and later Jonathan Saunders. Truth be told, am pretty excited – wish me luck… Really felt comfortable in yesterday’s outfit, and especially in love with this new cable knit jumper from Gant, looks as good as it feels, superb quality!
Ps. Big thanks to Kim from Love Cloth who is a sweetheart and snapped these pics for me!
