Urmagaaad, spring is coming and I’m all about pale blue-washed denim. I dug out these beauties from my ever-grown pile of jeans, ahem, gave them a wash for that nice, crumpled but slightly-stiff laundered feel and slung on with some black staples and cool boots…
It’s just as well these Air & Grace booties are so damn comfortable – something very clever going on with the cushioned sole – as I spent yesterday mainly charging around Shoreditch in search of Pret’s divine pulled pork hot pot with Erica and going to the wrong address for my meeting – oops! Totally worth it though as I was introduced to massive-in-the-US LA denim brand NYDJ (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans) aimed at those of us in their 30s or more with some pretty clever slimming tailoring. These blue skinnies (also a beautifully pale blue wash) looked strangely-shaped to me round the bum and waist until I put them on and it was a real wowzer-these-look-good-no-amazing moment, which is not always the case when trying on a new pair of skinnies. Completely sold, and very much looking forward to shooting a pair for the blog. Available in places like John Lewis and Fenwicks, I highly recommend going to try a pair on.
As much as I love my little leather jacket, I’m getting a bit tired of it and all my winter coats, so I popped into Urban Outfitters to see what they had and came across two awesome fringed cardis which I think will be the perfect spring transition outerwear – by Staring at Stars – see one of the ones I bought here. I’m also toting a fresh spring piece, the very cute new mini Cranleigh by Village England which I’m totally loving; one of the nice muted 70s colours that feels so right, right now. In other news, lots of exciting projects coming up keeping me busy as ever. Although, like everyone, I am trying to tune out from the digital life a little more these days, although my love for Insta is just getting stronger and stronger – I need help!
Super in love with these silver rings by Renne Jewellery…
