So Faded, So Good

Just wanted to show you this beautiful billowy top from new Swedish online + sustainable brand MY-T

The soft eggshell grey is the perfect match for these super-faded skyblue boyfriends. Faded feels so right for spring, doesn’t it? The jeans are Slim Phoebes, the new neater boyfriend shape so much in favour now, although I can’t really get with The Guardian’s new name for this ‘The Slimmy’ which just sounds a bit weird. But then I’m useless at coming up with names, so I should probably pipe down…

The gathered hem gives a pretty silhouette perfect for tucking in or leaving loose. The romance of the top – a soft stretch over the forearm leads into a flattering batwing and scooped neck and back – is the perfect match for the new ballet flat style with criss-cross straps so coveted right now. These are my investment of the year so far, the round-toed Isabel Marants. But there are some great New Look dupes and I imagine loads more will be popping up as we come into spring.

Speaking of coveted items, did you see the madness surrounding the latest Mansur Gavriel drop? I lost a busride reading the craziness that ensued on the instagram feed with people complaining bitterly about not enough stock, the website not processing payments fast enough and those who had succeeded re-selling for double the price right there and then! Quelle horreur. Next online drop is May, and Dover Street Market is stocking in London in case you’re infatuated…

So in love with my new  Stroem Design stamped with an ‘&’ rose gold ring…!
