I didn’t give it too much thought, but grabbed this denim dress while in Zara in Portugal (Zara’s demim game is WHITE HOT this spring, btw!) and just prayed it would look ok (no time for trying things on when you have a bored toddler in hand, hey!)…
But it’s a lovely tunic style, and I’ve since seen it pop up on all over Instagram albeit in the plain version without the pattern. It’s also such an easy wear, if it’s hot enough just a pair of sandals will do (these black espadrilles by Dune – sold out of a few sizes in Dune, but all available here). I also quite like the idea of wearing in the city with a leather jacket and trainers. C’mon London let’s decide it’s summer, shall we?
So, I’ve mentioned it a few times already, but a new blog design is in the works and I’m hoping the next time I post in a couple of days it will be live! So keep your eyes peeled… In the meantime, have a great weekend and keep up with me on Instagram. We are chocolate cake-baking for the start of family birthday season – one a month from now on! – and planning a little road-trip out of London!
Btw, just curious, do any of you own one of the snazzy new Kindles? I’m trying to break my habit of reading entire books on my phone and have dug out my now practically archaic Kindle and just wondering if an upgrade is in order as I’d prefer one with a backlight… I’ve just started Michael Faber’s The Book of Strange New Things, so good!
