Sunday Edit Three

These Sunday snapshots are becoming a little bit of a weekly edit. Which is nice as I do like a regular download of what’s been happening on the style, beauty & life front! Just a few things to impart this weekend, keeping it short & sweet, but read on..

First up, I’ve been doing a little instagram takeover at Radley London (last day today! My first one for a brand – I got a little more angsty about this than I thought I would, having a mini melt-down about the white balance of my second picture, haha!). But I settled into it and was really happy with my images in the end, mainly flower and food related! I chose the gorgeous Mount Street shoulder bag to feature and although my second choice, I was so pleased in the end as grey is the perfect colour for a bag. Tbh, I must have been mad as I’d thought a blush pink would do for me at first! This one is really spacious inside so I’ve been able to take the usual bits and bobs around, plus a camera. Really impressed with Radley’s new direction and spring/summer collection, not a Scottie dog in sight!

Next up, finally a bit of muchos on-trend khaki in my life in the form of a washed out jacket* by Hush. Hush seems to nail a jacket each season (autumn/winter was their parka which I lived in!) and for SS15 I reckon this is it, plus at £65 it’s a bit of a steal. I’ve only worn it out once so far, it’s quite slim fitting but reaches below the hips, so I need to figure out how it’s going to slot into my two failsafe silhouettes of big top/skinny jeans and neat top/boyfriend jeans look. I think it may well end up working best with my in-betweener girlfriend jeans, creating a midi-silhouette of equal top and bottom. Which I’m hoping is not going to look weird; will keep you posted.

The stationary you see is 1) my new business cards in advance of my site re-design which I’m hoping will be going live in the next couple of weeks (excited!) and 2) a sweet little personalised notebook that arrived out of the blue from a favourite brand I’ve been making friends with – thank you Air & Grace!

And another thank you should go out to Pretty Posh Oh My Gosh for mentioning my camera strap collab in their weekend round-up – so lovely, thanks ladies! And did you see the little stop motion video I made for this over on Instagram? So much fun!

And finally, the bottles of nail polish*… These all came via new service – a just-launched monthly box subscription service which sends you full-size seasonal colours; quite handy if you’re into polish but like me are useless at buying it. £15 a month for 5 items, varnish and/or tools and the same colour never gets sent out twice.

So, there you have it, a little round-up of what’s been rocking my world this week. Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday weekend!

ps. We crossed Tower Bridge late last night lit up in pink to celebrate the royal babe, which felt weirdly kind of momentous… For the more raw, uncensored moments you can find me over on Snapchat @stylonylon.
