Sunday Edit 19

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASince this incarnation of the Sunday Edit is a re-working of the original lost version, apologies if it is a bit more perfunctory than normal! But let’s plunge in…

I’m loving how all the greys came together in this one – kinda how I wished my Instagram feed looked all the time! The moss stitch of the Beaumont Organic knit makes for such lovely texture and it really is the perfect oversized autumn woollen with a lovely thick neck. Yummy.

The croc-effect bag is one of the pieces I’ve included in my autumn edit for Jaeger, which will be coming out soon. They’ve got classic forever pieces nailed and you can take your look with some easy basics you already own straight into autumn with the pieces I’ve chosen. Keep your eyes peeled!

More on the grey fabric front is this wonderful pile of tartan swatches from the Scotland Shop, who have 100s of tartans and can make all sort of things up for you. I’m thinking a mini skirt might be fun – taking me back to my kilt-wearing school days!

I’ve also been trying out gorgeous new beauty brand Plant Me. Their rose otto serum includes extracts from the nutrient-filled Moringa tree and I’ve been using it between eye-balm and moisturising. Definitely leaving my skin nourished and free looking, which is ideal for the cooling temperature – winter doesn’t seem too far away now, does it?

Had to give a shout out to the Olympus Pen E-PL7! Not least because of its ongoing success – sold out in white everywhere, but just restocked here – but because I have my first Pen in Practice column (page 8!) in this month’s digital Olympus magazine!

And finally, the fabulous waterproof, everything proof, Sorel boots. I actually tried to buy this pair a few years ago from the US, but messed the size conversion so badly I just sent them back! These are utterly brilliant though, super cosy and they have an inner lining which just makes you feel invincible in the elements. Although some styles you might need to size up, for this pair, I’ve gone with my regular size.

I hope that wasn’t too hasty, and I’m already onto shooting next Sunday’s Edit this afternoon too! I’m also off to France tomorrow for a few days in the gorgeous Provence, so stay tuned on Insta for the swimming, cycling and picque-nique action!

Ps. Lovely little succulent from Geo-Fleur and the birch bark Broste candle from Triangle Store.
