So much love for just dropped bucket bag – from the new collaboration collection by Radley and Jonathan Saunders (launched today!). I’m mad for a bucket anyway, and when I saw the orange was actually quite faded (just how I like my bright colours!) it was decided…
And perfectly set off against a mega-neutrals combo – blue denim, white trainers and grey knit. And the cosiest jacket (faux!) I own. Much needed for the days when winter decides to be winter again. Although the sun is holding its own today – hurrah!
Oops, rewind. The denim is no ordinary denim, shaped as it is into what we call dungarees. A total no-no for some, or just too cutsie for others, but then check how some of the cool girls rock them. I’ll admit I’ve never had a denim pair before and was worried about how they would suit me. But the narrowness of the hip area makes these particularly flattering. To be found over at Wrap London, who do a very nice line in denim and generally relaxed, laid-back pieces. For all you petites, this pair is a size 6 and extremely good fit. Just one little turn up at the hems, which looks nice anyway!
Of course, the shock news this December that Jonathan Saunders is closing down makes the wearing of the bag sadly poignant. A hearty good luck to the Scottish designer and his future projects.
Ps. Hair super windswept, and way longer than it is now. Had it cut mega-short last night! Check my Insta & Snapchat @stylonylon.
