Wear It Long

Despite all the SS16 temptations and skin-baring granny shoe mania, winter still has us in its gory grip and we must abide sensibly…

The best approach is to side with the long-coat crew and wrap yourself into something akin to a long blanket with belt. Being quite short, most coats are quite long (and well, just big) on me, granted, so it’s about finding a good cut that flows down in a non-bulky way. And grey being the new black for this Insta-crowd, this Finery one is just the ticket, especially coming in at only £119. So soft, so well cut, lovely detailing (like the flap on the pockets) and belts perfectly – sorry, will tie the knot next time I shoot this, cos me and this coat we’re going all the way.

The furry, pointy sneakers are feeling pretty on fleek right now and will be perfect LFW garb (yes, yes I’m already planning, save my soul) and I thought I’d try out with flares (maybe not that on fleek neither skimming the ground nor grazing the ankles, but hey, can’t win em all huh?). Wear it long. Over and out.
