As a follow up to today’s outfit post I wanted to point you in the direction of some other lovely woven and straw bags as we’re in the height of summer and you need these in your life!
My latest exciting discovery is recently launched online boutique collective Trouva. Completely coincidentally I had been searching for coffee cups and asked my sister to get me this one for my birthday (which I adore!) and then saw my lovely pal with-minimal-style-synergy-tendencies-to-mine Arianna had teamed up with them for their launch. Much lovely serendipity! But turns out as well as gorgeous homewares they have some very perfect straw baskets (I like the plainer, maximum two colours kind of straw basket! No pom poms for me am afraid, ok maybe this one!) like the one pictured – the Palmar, currently in sale! And this classic Parisienne one…
Going clockwise, I bought this huge Zara tote for the Maldives (blog posts coming soon, photo editing taking forever!) and it was completely brilliant for stuffing everything (and I mean buckets and spades and sunscreen and sarongs etc etc) in for being out on the beach all day. I did feel it was abit pricey I have to admit, but currently on sale so much better value!
And the lovely green jute bag is one I found out about via Lucy, she’s had a tan version for a little while I think and it can be found at Brighton shop Workshop Living, only left in green though – just bought this, great price at £24 – but I imagine they’ll be restocking the other colours soon!
And the little sacette style I have similar – a Shopbop buy a couple of years ago but they don’t have it anymore – but it can be found at French brand Souer which is where my bag in today’s outfit post is from too. Sadly out of stock – I think I know who may have nabbed the last one, Susie? 😉 – But it’s also available from Barney’s though more expensive!
