My Favourite Bags & Other Pieces

Despite the return of the cult of the It-bag and as covetable as they can be, the truth is I much prefer something subtley beautiful yet still self-possessed – and without the £1000 (plus!) price tag ;)…

[ezcol_1half]The bags I’m drawn to are simple, minimal styles like those from Mansur Gavriel and A.P.C.the quite unique structured styles by Manu Atelier and vegetable tanned leather minimalist perfection from the likes of Mimi Berry, Paradise Row and Kate Sheridan. My latest discover is Spanish brand Malababa and their cool, unstructured styles appeal massively to me; I love carrying a softer bag around. I fell in love with this criss-cross style the minute I spied it on Instagram – the soft changing colours never fail to make me smile. [/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]The other pieces totally nailing it for me at the moment are the new Honey boots from Seven Boot Lane – I’ve long loved the classic designs and amazing quality of this brand as you probably know. The studs are a really nice touch to liven up a typically pared back outfit like my usual jeans and  jumper. And the jeans really are my favourites right now, the Wedgie fit by Levi’s which I just bought new in this faded wash. I wrote more about them in my Sunday Edit with a little edit of all the ones currently online – I also have a faded black pair. [/ezcol_1half_end]
