Where I Get My Pixie Cut Done!

Stylonylon | Pixie Cut

I know I’ve said this before but I love my hair short! The shorter the better, it just feels so liberating and good off my face…!

This pixie is the shortest I’ve gone in a while and it’s so good having something so easy to manage – there is zero styling involved, in under fives minutes it’s absolutely good to go…

For washing, I am alternating between Mother Dirt’s brilliant super natural shampoo and Oway’s chemical free steel silver shampoo for blonde hair, essentially a toner to neutralise over-yellowy tones.

And then I just blast with a hairdryer and run some product through it – for a stiff, wax-like substance I love using Australian brand Evo’s Cropstrutters

The cut I had done by Sandra (who is a short hair genius!) at Blue Tit salon (the Clapton branch) and colour by Rumer, one of the Blue Tit Academy teachers. Blue Tit is now using the lovely Oway products – which includes a 100% ammonia free colour; I had fine highlights to achieve this look applied to my hair before the cut. Sandra and Rumer had a good chat together to achieve the right result, as short hair & colour takes a little extra planning!

  1. I love the short hair, but those leopard skin jeans? What were you thinking? Fifties American suburb?

    1. Ha literally my favourite pair of jeans lol! I mean 50s American suburb works for me ☺️

  2. Oh Jeez! First off the block!

Looking fabulous, leopard print and all. I have obsessed over pixie cuts since I was 16 and have tried it twice but have always grown it back because I didn’t feel very feminine. You look ace…maybe it will tempt me again!
