Don’t hate me, it’s just that we’ve started Christmas early this year – the tree is already up, help me! I gave in to the demands of a seven year old and thought, “Actually, why not?”. Lol. So it’s up and we are advent calendar ready…
I’m not quite as organised as some (wrapped presents are already making an appearance on Instagram and that is well, you know, impressive! I don’t tend to get round to wrapping until a mad panic the night before ha!) but I do like to start thinking ideas and what might be nice…

A impromptu visit to The Conran Shop last week presented a whole host of beautiful decorations, I bought two, the ones you see in the picture, and as so pretty I’ve made a table decoration out of them – with a rosehip berry wreath and scented candle on the kitchen table – rather than lose them in the Christmas tree. The *dried blooms are so pretty and from Little Dried Blooms…
And while Gus is all advent-calendared with up a Star Wars lego one, the Cowshed’s super luxe *advent calendar (perfect for adults who love natural beauty!) is always full of treats and I’m excited to see all the minis in their new rebranded improved eco-friendly packaging!

I’m just obsessed with the soy & rapeseed wax Moon candle from Evermore London atm, pretty much one of my favourite fragrances – smoke and night rose – plus it is extremely elegant! I’m burning this everyday and very much hoping I’ll be finding a new under the Christmas tree too! Fairly similar is the North scent.

If it’s someone you know well then jewellery is definitely an option. I’ve been wearing this delicately beautiful handmade in London Joan *necklace by Alkymi since the day it arrived with me. Such a subtle piece, I just layer on top of it if I want to build up.

Some of my favourite natural brands to show you. Two just-launched products from Dr. Hauschka – a Stone Pine Sea Salt *cleansing gel and the Hayflower Cardamon *cleansing lotion, both lovely to use; as ever Dr. Hauschka can do no wrong IMHO.
Serums are always a nice extra layer in the winter and these ones are the *Hyaluron serum (super concentrated for dry skin) by another of my favourites Susanne Kaufmann, a collagen boosting Retinol Sleep Serum Level 1 from Oskia and a new product, a Retinol Alternative, made from the Babchi flower, from Herbivore. So something here for everyone!
