Jeans that work for both trainers & boots 👉 Levi’s faves 501 skinnies (which I shortened - the scissors & cheese grater technique, I don’t wash my jeans lol so can’t get a good hem that way!) with a really nicely cut basic white tee 🌼 *gifts tagged
3/3 | And this high ankle-snug Zara style is one of the few similar-to-the-Bottegas around - sold out online but still available in some stories - use their store search, but then call the shop to confirm the size! 👍 Also see @vagabondshoes and @andotherstories for their take on this style... *cardigan gifted
2/3: These leather @andotherstories knee highs may look hi maintenance but they’re actually wipe clean 😆🧼 so I’ve been getting out and about in the rain & mud no prob! *gifts tagged
(1/3) MINI STYLING SERIES ‘Boots To Tuck Into’
HeatTech aside, tucking in jeans to boots is great for keeping warm, but you need a higher boot 🔝 Here’s two I’m wearing... See next grid pics for outfits ➡️

Winter sun we need you back 🙏☀️ One of those weeks feeling super overwhelmed by all the things I want to get done but really not getting that much done at all... among things I’ve been thinking about: Instagram removing likes which overall feels, and seems to be proving to be, a bit of a non event - if anything I think it will encourage us, certainly me! - to post more and more freely! I haven’t faired amazingly well with algorithm changes and it has made me more reluctant to post and worried about reach & visibility which in itself has made me question my content and what is it all about! When I started blogging I didn’t have Instagram, and when I did join it was only ever another social media platform to direct people to my blog ⚠️ And yet over time in so many ways it has become the main focus - where to put content, where to connect with people, where to earn from collaborations - I remember quite well the shift from being paid for blog content to being paid for Instagram work and now it dominates to such an extent that many have given up their blogs which I fully understand because there’s not enough time in a week to create effectively for all the outlets! I, for one, have never felt that comfortable on Instagram, long form is what I like (and many photos lol!) and punchy snippets have never been my forte, so despite having been around for ages, in all honestly I never really felt I’ve got the hang of it... and yet I’ve always tried to keep it short... not today obvs! Stories I much prefer because there I feel I’m able to engage in an ongoing narrative that makes sense and feels natural to me... So, how to make (or treat!) the grid more like Stories is where I have landed with it all! In an ideal world I’d like to post more regularly, not worry about reach and just enjoy the engagement which I love 💓 Feeling more free to post what you love surely must feed creativity, the execution of which is key to a day feeling complete for me and to feeling fulfilled & happy ✅ Holding back on creativity makes me feel stunted and like I’m hovering, stuck in a strange limbo 😆 So going forward, more carefree posting I am hoping! 🤞 Plus new Sunday Edit is up ‼️
With a seal of approval from my favourite fur ball (*immediately on garden watch! 😆) this is what I wore out last night 🍝🍷☺️ *gift
‘Tis the season for favourite new jumpers ☺️🎄 Making use of wasted textiles, this balloon sleeved knit is made from a recycled polyester blend by @eastclothing 👉 a very ethical & sustainable women-led company making clothes extremely transparently with artisans and manufacturers in India & Turkey, using dyes from leaves, vegetables and fruits so no chemicals, sustainable machinery and techniques, such as traditional tie dye, wood blocking and batik (I have a beautiful foil printed dress to show you next!❣️) *gift, and necklace & jeans too .
