Chido Bueno’s Handcrafted Mexican Goodies

Finally (finally!) spring has sprung and I’m craving light, summery pieces to float about in. And here is a perfect selection of handmade goodies from Chido Bueno – a company set up by two sisters working directly with Mexican artisans, promoting cultural exchange between the UK and Mexico with a focus on fairtrade and sustainable development. The new website is live, looking good and tells you all about the artisans behind the making of the pieces. And if, like me, you’re a die-hard fan of Liberty prints check out this hand embroidered Paisley tunic – Paisley’s having a bit of a moment this spring – in a Liberty Mayfair Forget Me Not in blue. The perfect summer smock. For a bit of simple styling, how about pairing with a black leather jacket and leather thong tan sandals? That’ll work nicely.
