The backlash to big bling cocktail rings has been a long time coming, and on most days for several months now I’ve been going super minimal on the ring front. And now that delicate gold bands with pretty detail are popping up on style blogs – on Nieto Notices featuring Kate Hillier’s rose gold Pretty Ring and Style Scrapbook featuring Michelle Oh’s Initial ring and on the fingers of one my best most stylish artist friends – well, perhaps the trend has well and truly arrived. My favourites at the moment are anything in rose gold, like the Anina Vogel vintage chain rings (available in store from Liberty) and the Iwona Ludyga Tiny Skully Rings. One my favourite rings to wear at the moment is a simple rose gold band I bought from a boutique on Broadway Market, but cannot remember the name of the shop or the jewellery brand, but this Scarlett Jewellery rose gold stacking ring on Etsy is pretty similar. If you’re after some gorgeous elegant antique rings and are Australian based, then try out this lovlely site KalmarAntiques.com.au.
