So in the interest of moving things along (I’m now a week over my due date) a trip to the monster shopping mall that is Westfield Stratford was agreed upon, with the express purpose of visiting the Liberty satellite store. I browsed Liberty reversible canvas shoppers, notebooks, trays and aprons, snapped in the photo booth and bought a Kelly’s Meadow print mug – a 2011 interpretation of a traditional 1950s floral called Rushmore from the Liberty archive comprising a meadow of forget me knots, buttercups and clover. And then I had chocolate ice cream in a cone. Bliss.
