Sunday Afternoon – Rivington Street Festival

Stylonylon - UK fashion blog - Rivington Street Festival

Sunday afternoon we popped down to Shoreditch for a peek at the Rivington Street Festival. Rivington Street, which cuts through the middle of Curtain Road…

is one of my favourites in that area, home to the Rivington Bar & GrillBrix and Philip Start’s Start boutique and superb Italian restaurant Bottega Prelibato. It was a bustling affair (free to get in) which live music, lots of little stalls, face painting for kids, a photobooth (looong queue) and few other odds and sods. Anyway, here are a few snaps, candids and requisite cupcakes by the Indulgent Sugar Plum to give you a feel.

How about you? What did you get up to this weekend? And are you going to Glastonbury?? Quite jealous of those who are, as I’ve never been and by all accounts it’s one of those festivals that was so amazing way back and just can’t quite live up to it’s reputation now. So I guess I missed it truly and proper, but I’d still like to go. And really, I think it’s all about who you’re with and what you’re doing. Take the opportunity to dance, dance, dance.
