Packing Essentials – Boyfriends & Cutoffs

Boyfriends

Each time we travel, I try and streamline my packing a little bit more. Usually unsuccessfully, but this time round I’ve definitely hit a high note…

After receiving the PERFECT pair of boyfriend jeans – in complete love, keep an eye out for these styled up in a special campaign; coming soon – and still devoted to an excellent pair of Zara cutoffs, I decided to risk packing just these for my denim wear. One pair of jeans, one pair of shorts. The elegant simplicity pleases no end. I wore the boyfriends to travel and out to restaurants and the cutoffs during the day. My only other main outfit was a vintage Diane von Furstenberg dress which I wore to a wedding out here on white isle and which I totally failed to photograph. Holidays in a funny way are always a bit more intense with a little one as new environments and new people mean you have to parent that little bit harder…

We haven’t been to Ibiza for a couple of summers now and it’s lovely to be back. Mainly in wedding party capacity and staying with friends at a beautiful villa in the north of the island, so no crazy closing week parties for us but we had such a ball at the wedding – on the beach, beautiful villa reception, fancy-dress disco by the pool – that the need for any further stimulation was zeroed. So many photos, some of which I’ll post up here and some of which you’ll see on the Free People blog next week. Tomorrow, I’m hoping we’ll go back to the restaurant we visited Friday night to get some lovely photos. If you’re an Ibiza regular you’ll have visited or know of La Paloma – it totally lives up to its reputation and has to be one of the prettiest restaurants I’ve ever been too (also a favourite of the Camerons, I’ve been told…). Here’s a few instagrams in the meantime, and yes, that is a bonafide #nofilter sunset!
