Winter has come and I’m feeling the cold! And I’m forever on the search for a pair of cosy house shoes that won’t wear away at the heel (I get through thick socks faster than is possible!). And then I remembered Moccis

We used to wear these leather soled socks growing up in Denmark and last winter I bought the cutest pair of London bus Moccis for Gus (which sadly we lost one half of before he grew out of them). They are a brilliant solution to keeping cosy indoors and having more than just a sock on. I was thrilled that Moccis were happy to send out these Svea pairs for me and Gus to review (they now do adult sizes too).

Nice thick wool which is warm around the foot and an excellent quality leather (washable) sole which means I’m happy to tread around the house without ever slipping on a pair of shoes. We are very much a shoes on kind of household (shoes off is something I dream of in another life!) and as our kitchen leads out onto the garden, it can get a bit mucky quite quickly. I love having an almost shoe on, I don’t have to worry about stepping in any wet trod in from the outside. Is this just me?

I’m a huge fan, and now want them in all different colours! Absolutely brilliant Christmas present, and though pretty pricey, these are long lasting items. These are best when they’re quite snug to your foot, so if you’re in between sizes I’d go down a size.

I’m wearing Superdry jumper, Topshop jeans & Svea Moccis*. Gus is wearing Polarn O Pyret jumper, John Lewis cords and Svea Moccis*.
