Today’s all about heatwave weather and the bumblebee yellows and browns in my life right now… 

You’ll have probably seen a whole load of these gorgeous bloom faces on Instagram, everyone seems to have gone out and bought a bunch! So bright and summery and the perfect match to this brilliant Bee Venom face mask I’ve been using. It’s the kind of mask that tingles your face into youthful plumpness plus has the bonus of including organic ingredients. I’ve been getting into face masks a little more lately, nice to stick on before a morning shower for a little skin love.

And then, how cool are these polarised shades by Sun God? Just £35 and apparently unbreakable – they are made from something called TR90 which is nicknamed ‘titanium plastic’ and are BPA free and have a lifetime guarantee. Plus you can choose your own colours for the frame, arms and lenses. I went for my beloved tortoiseshell (I left my round Monki ones in Portugal, damnit!) and jazzed up with a polarised fire lens. They’re very light to wear and I love how they look, so much so they inspired a very rare impromptu phone selfie!

Also in this flat lay, you’ll spy a signature Maria Francesca Pepe ring with its super spiky spikes – you need to be a bit of a tough girl to wear this, they actually hurt! Probably just as well I can’t find this style online! And my final yellow and brown match are these recently acquired leopard Birk-alikes by Steve Madden which look so ridiculously good with red toenails it hurts!
