Festival Fables

Dancing on hay bales as the sun starts to lower ticks a lot of boxes in my book (you can see the silly instavid version here)…

Our Wilderness daytrip convinced me of one thing – this is still a perfectly formed festival, not too big yet and catering to chilled family vibes with many fine things on offer on the food and therapies front. I think if I had known, I may have considered making it a family trip. As it is, I’m back in London as the real fun has just begun (albeit rainy, not fair festival goers, I know, but warm in the rain is so much better!).

The day shone sunny for us and as test music blared out the stage speakers I leapt up on the straw and spun around in my new dress, shaking off the last few weeks of busy (but good!) times. Made me yearn for more dancing in my life again. I do love to dance! We’ve got some home DIY to get on with today, but coming up tomorrow brunching, afternoon tea and a hotel review, so stay tuned and keep up with it all on Instagram.

Fable dress* by Free People – pretty much the best dress I’ve worn for a festival, this is actually a midi length which fits perfectly; lots of Free People dresses are super long on me being pint-sized!
