As I trawl through my many Belfast photos, I just wanted to pop up a few of our leisurely Sunday breakfast at the Europa hotel before we headed out for a morning of site seeing and and the most fabulous lunch (one of many!)… 

I love nothing more than a hot tea (a non-caffeine drinker, I usually – weirdly! – go for a camomile for breakfast when not home) and croissant to get energised for the day ahead. If truth be told I’d already had yet another delicious bowl of porridge with berries and felt like I needed just a little more on top!

The hotel, a four star, was wonderfully luxe but with a relaxed, friendly vibe and very amiable staff. And I had the most gloriously spacious room with a colossal bed. Only parents can fully appreciate what an incredible treat it is to have a tidy hotel room with swathes of white sheets and pillows all to yourself…
