There are lots of things I can’t do without while travelling, but these items in particular have worked really hard for me this weekend while on a mini-break to Belfast (check my Insta for pics until I get my mini guide up!)…
A white t-shirt (this one by Eileen Fisher) that fits well on the shoulders and is just the right length to wear with leg-warming skinnies – for me that’s long enough to cover my bum, magically creating the illusion of longer, leaner legs…!
And then hard-working creams – these two tubes are by Lanolips, a brand I haven’t tried before but I know people rave about the lipbalm. One is a antibacterial hand moisturiser (proven to 99.99% of germs) and the other, Golden Ointment, is a mega-thick balm with lanolin, Manuka honey and Vitamin E. The products are both made with lanolin – a fatty substance found on sheep’s wool – which has an extremely high hydration factor. Plus hypoallergenic, no parabens, sulphates, petroleum or mineral oil and cleansed of all colour, fragrance and impurities so safe to use on new born babies too. I’m finding the Golden Ointment is a godsend for heels in this colder weather and the hand cream perfect for popping in my handbag.
Finally my beloved Pen, which is practically surgically attached to me these days, as you probably know by now! Now stay tuned for a few forth-coming Belfast themed posts…!
