Earlier this year I took on my first styling job for Seven Boot Lane. A brand I already knew and loved, having featured their ankle boots on the blog before. And finally, the AW15 lookbook is live… 

With quite a lot of looks to cover, I made the call-me-crazy decision to style everything in white. Sounds so ‘fashion’, now that I think about it! But with lots of different styles to showcase, it was a way to pull together the whole shoot. I knew that I wanted it all to look quite minimal and we had a fantastic studio flat location to shoot in for the day. And wow, we even shot outside, when of course it rained! Cue comedy moments the whole team rushing inside as the rain started and back out as soon as it stopped. On repeat. And then our fab model Pippa Atkinson, superbly stoic, let photographer Jay shoot her as it rained while the rest of us cowered beneath umbrellas, ho hum! That and a muddied suede boot was about as dramatic as things got I’m proud to say…
