Finally the summer gods are smiling upon us, and holidays are creeping up over the horizon. Short-changed last year on family getaway time – house move was the only focus – this year we’re going to be spoilt. First up, the Algarve where temperatures are looking promising…
Swimwear this year is all about simple black pieces for me. I have images in my head of staying classy with a well-fitted one-piece like this one from Hush – swimwear has just launched with them and I’m glad to see they’re doing a great-looking costume and bikini (top/bottom) in black. I think it dates back to style inspo pics of my Mum looking incredible in a black two-piece two children in. It’s the only way to go really.
Airports and footwear when you might be getting hot and sweaty waiting in cues requires something light, neat and slippable on/off. Also packable. Love this brilliant new slip-ons from Emu; just tried this on today and the memory foam soles are ridiculously comfy. (See more from Emu’s spring collection on my Snapchat @stylonylon.)
Skin never doesn’t need something replenishing and kind. I’m rediscovering the very impressive Pai and their range. Really impressive in the eco credentials. Certified organic, vegan and cruelty free, and all made in west London. Hoping to pay a visit to the workshop soon and discover more. In the meantime, I’m using the best-selling Rosehip oil which has a multitude of benefits, even helping with blemishes which I didn’t know. You don’t need much, just a few drops before or mixed into moisturiser (I’m using this camomile & rosehip day cream), so the bottle lasts for ages.
Really excited to see a slew of gorgeous new accessories just landed at Jaeger, including this super 70s, ie. of the moment saddle bag, the perfect companion to any summery outfit, just love the shape. Also loving this oval belt!
