The run up to Christmas is just the time to fit in some winter well-being and I’m keeping an eye on what lovely treatments are popping up in Londontown. How about being slathered in chocolate at the gorgeous The Landmark London?

I love a good body scrub, there’s something so mentally soothing about a proper focus on your skin when the temperature drops, central heating gets turned on and skin is generally covered up under layers and layers. The Landmark London is one of our capital’s most stunning hotels with its incredible palm-tree greenhouse courtyard and stunning glass ceiling; just off to the right is the cosy health club and spa. Along with the indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym and chill out room (which you can use before or after) there are dimly lit, soothing little treatment rooms, which is where I had my Christmas Choco Paradise treatment. [/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]With chocolate scub products by Germaine de Cappucini (seriously chocolate heavy, smelt good enough to eat!) my therapist Antonella started with a foot milk bath before applying the first one in a massage technique all over my body (I didn’t bother with the little paper pants for this one!) which I then showered off. The second scrub needed to be applied for 20 minutes and by this time I was really settling into the process and when Antonella started the most wonderful scalp massage I drifted away. By the second shower my skin was feeling ridiculously soft and hydated. A super indulgent treat which left me feeling calmed and rejuvenated. [/ezcol_1half_end]
