Just a few last minute gift ideas as we’re getting so close now! I’ll come clean I did the bulk of my Christmas shopping at Amazon – books and toys – and then a top up at the brilliant Trouva and now just filling in the gaps with a few last minute purchases…

So obsessed with beautiful candles right now, but really keen to find ones that aren’t the obvious ones that are appearing in all the magazines and newspaper gift guides right now. Some recent gorgeous and not-the-norm discoveries include (pictured) Brook & Birch at A Beautiful World and Los Angeles based PF Candles Co (available at Rose Grey and Urban Outfitters or Chatsworth Road’s Hop of Hackney, E5), Hackney-made Ohros candles and Brooklyn Candle Studio at Wood/Grey.

I love cute little presents like little spoons and egg cups, both these are from Trouva who keep nailing it with their incredibly curated selection from the UK’s best independent boutiques. They are also (yay!) stocking my new camera accessories collab with Mimi Berry – the oilskin pouches (pictured) and straps make for the perfect Christmas present!

Caps for the men in your life are always a good bet – Hats & Caps is great because they do sizes all the way up to 63inches, for those with the bigger head! Jewellery wise two regular go-tos for me are the minimal styles at Magpie on the Run (Matthew Calvin earrings pictured) and the sweet delicate-with-a-bit-of-fun-pieces at Missoma – star bracelet pictured.

Can’t go wrong with beautiful slippers, these have just restocked on Trouva and for any children/babies the new collection at Vild House of Little is again, a real-go to for me. I’ve gifted three of the super soft blankets this year to friends and family newborns and Gus now has his own which he snuggles up on the sofa with after school. The limited edition print is used for baby all-in-ones and tops too!

And finally some brilliant bargains on cashmere over at Boden who have some great sale prices happening now. Love their cashmere knits, absolute wardrobe staples. Happy shopping!
