Pai Facial At The Beaumont London, W1

London is full of surprises. Turn a corner just behind Oxford Street and you might happen upon the most exquisitely put together bijoux Art Deco hotel offering one of the most deliciously pampering organic facials. In this case the Pai Facial which has just launched at The Beaumont London…

I adore Pai Skincare as you probably already know – take a peek at my factory visit last year where I got to see all the gorgeous certified organic skincare products being made and meet the team. The products are about as soothing and gentle as you can imagine; just the thing for sensitive skins prone to rashes or flareups. Using Pai you know you are giving your the skin the best possible care. I am a big fan of the best-selling rosehip oil and adore the Camelia & Rose hydrating cleanser and Chamomile & Rosehip calming day cream. Amazing for calming down any redness or irritation on the skin.

The Beautmont Spa is downstairs and just exquisite. Resplendent in marble mosaic and decked out with stunning furniture and black & white imagery you really feel like you’ve stepped back in time to another era. Guided to your locker past the sauna, hamam slab and marble plunge pool, the changing rooms are the kind of place you could quite happily just hang awhile. Until you remember the gorgeous relax area. Once I’d changed into a lush white robe and flip flops and filled in my form, I was escorted to the darkened treatment room.

A gentle cleanse, applied with smooth facial massage movements was followed by a tone and exfoliation. I quickly realised this facial was the just relax back and enjoy kind, no extractions or sharp tingly moments to brace yourself for. The signature rosehip oil was applied and massaged in at length which was blissful. In sum, this is an indulgent experience of hydration facilitated by seamless facial massage techniques boosting circulation and gentle lymphatic drainage, ridding the the facial area of toxins. By the time we got to the mask I was snoozy and drifting and so ready for the soothing scalp massage. This is easily one of the most pampering, holistic and well-being facials I’ve experienced.

By the end my face was plumped, hydrated and super soothed and I returned to the relax area for a delicious ginger infusion. Being a Monday morning I did feel a little guilty at quite how far into the chill zone I had entered! But I very much wanted to spend the rest of the day reclining in the sauna and reading the papers. If you go make sure you allow some extra for this, well worth it I’d say…

The Pure Hydration Facial with Pai products is available at The Beaumont London, £95 for 60mins
