This year’s autumn drops just seem to be getting better and better! M&S has nailed it with their new Marks & Spencer Must-Haves collection and no surprise that pieces are already selling out fast already! Here’s my pick of the pieces I’m loving…
Leopard Cashmere Jumper
Leopard print is reigning supreme this autumn – seemingly peaking over Spring/Summer but having none of it and sailing forward with gusto! Yes, there’s a lot of it around, and sell-out hits have inspired a whole new range of sell-out hits. And this notion of it being a neutral has really taken hold! But actually it’s better than a neutral, it’s a neutral with real zing and it can be used as the starting piece of you outfit.

I can honestly say this cashmere jumper has been earning its keep, and I’ve only had it a few days! But this weekend it was centrepiece for a morning work event and then out for drinks out in the evening, it just makes getting dressed SO much easier! The print is perfectly done (medium & well-defined) and definitely one for those who prefer the more muted leopard tones, rather than the more orange (although I was too late to get my hands on the pleat leopard skirt which is now sold out, sob, although M&S do tend to restock pieces so keep an eye out!).
Styling up leopard is just so easy peasy though, all you need are some ‘real’ neutrals to build in. So having missed out on the leopard skirt – there are a few sizes left! – I went for the black pleat version (comes in two other colours as well!) which really is the prettiest thing, and a good fit for petite as well. Sometimes skirts can engulf and be too long but I love how this skirt clings to you shape, really flattering.
And because I couldn’t resist the idea of double-leoparding, and we are just about to embrace autumnal headwear, and I’d been thinking how much I needed a leopard beret, I threw them together and created my September look lol (I literally wore this duo the day after I shot this pictures for that morning event, and then kept the jumper and swapped in another hat for the evening. I’ve only had this jumper 48 hours and I’ve been wearing for 75% of that time, lol!).
So double leopard plus neutrals of a black skirt and lifted up with the cute white boots – the zip’s on the inside so easy to slip on and off. I think this is a colour palette that can so easily be applied to other outfits. The best complementary neutrals for leopard being black, white and blue.

The Marks Trench
My second Must-Have choice has to be the latest M&S cotton trench – they just do these so well and for such a good price at £79! And the smaller sizes fit really well too – I’m 5″2 and this is a size 6. Again with a mac, it being such a statement piece, you can keep the rest of the outfit super lowkey – I love these wide-leg jeans, nice comfortable high waist and all I had to do was cut off couple of inches on the length, lol. And as the style is frayed anyway, it worked fine!
I think as we still have the pleasure of warmish weather now is the time to still be making the most of bare ankles and I love the clumpy shape of these matt leather loafers – just perfect! I also wanted to mention these Chelsea brogue boots – I have a similar style which I’ve wore continuously through last winter, a really nice look!
