A long and lazy meal at Vale do Lobo’s Dois Passos (on the Praia do Ancao) with tiger prawns in garlic, chilli and more, robola (sea bass) baked to perfection in sea salt followed by a surprise chocolate birthday cake – I genuinely thought the waitresses were singing for someone else. Mortifying but lovely – especially all the happy smiles around the table munching into the chocolate deliciousness. Then back home to more cake! A homemade New York cheesecake made by mummy Stylonylon (a cheesecake has been my birthday tradition as far back as I can remember) and some gorgeous homey presents. Thank you, lovely parents and husband for a top day… 🙂 Who cares about age anyway??
