I’ve probably mentioned before how much I love rose gold – and particularly rose gold rings…
I’m still due a little birthday prezzie and have been trying to decide whether I should go for one of these. I’m building a small collection of just plain rose gold bands but I’m a sucker for statement styles and when I find the right one, I’ll wear it to death.
I’ve got a bit of a hankering for the Chantilly ring (1) by Greek jewellery designer Ileana Makri. Inspired by the intricate brass and gold filigree work on antique furniture, the ring is probably a more sophisticated and ladylike style than I would usually wear. She also does this really cool snake ring, also in rose gold. My comfort zone is more Catbird stacking ring (4) and Etsy Whisper Thin Rings (6) but it’s important to keep pushing the boundaries, I say! Do you like rose gold? Which is your favourite?

I like #1. What strikes me is the intricate detailed design of the ring.
