I spotted these gorgeous new Village England bags over on Disneyrollergirl’s blog this morning…
The Cranleigh cross body bag, which softly whispers simple elegant design with a touch of the seventies but in bright contemporary colours. The quality looks so good – weird how you can tell that from a photograph – and yet a relatively low (in the world of handbags!) price tag of £165. After checking out the website, I clicked through to their Twitter and saw that LelaLondon had also spotted one of their designs, the Shaldon camera bag (£135). I reckon you’re going to be seeing a lot more of these bags come the autumn.
Set up earlier this year by former Harrods and House of Fraser accessories buyer Eddie Knevett and Julia Dobson, who worked in senior management at luxury brands including Celine and Bally, the debut Village England collection is the culmination of the pair’s quest for the perfect bag – “…something you fall in love with but isn’t so precious that it can’t be thrown in the back of the car.” My ideal bag then, I’m already in love!
See more at Village England.
