Another wedding outfit planning post for you! And another burst of colour to brighten things up. This is a lovely pleated dress sent to me by Joseph for review.
Again, similar to the yellow skirt below, when I chose it I wanted to try something different. And such posh box pleats are not my usual style (though I should confess I had a school uniform skirt with even bigger box pleats that I proudly wore ankle length!). The blue also is not something I’d usually choose but I’ve seen it on Andy from Style Scrapbook time and time again I thought I’d give it a go. At first I styled it with a big faux fur and platforms but that was definitely more my style a couple of years ago.
These days I think my impulse is hopefully a bit slicker and a bit more polished which is why I chose my black leather jackets and white pointy wedges to give it a bit of a harder edge. Do you like the look? It might not be a typical wedding outfit, but this is a highland wedding where it’s ok to give into a little leathery comfort every now and then – *she says, making up wedding attire rules as she goes*. What’s the most casual thing you’ve ever worn to a wedding?
Wearing Joseph dress* (sale/sold out), All Saints leather jacket (old), Zara wedges (sold out!) and Hose tights.
